Transportation Construction Inspector District 3

Transportation Construction Inspector needed for 2026 season in various counties across District 3. Responsible for consulting with contractors and ensuring compliance with contract documents.

Requirements

• Ensure compliance with contract documents by the contractor
• Ensure compliance with the contractor’s health and safety plan
• Check that delivered materials conform to the contract documents
• Prepare and submit daily reports of work performed
• Effective oral and written communication
• Follow and convey instructions
• Utilize computers and common office equipment
• Ability to bend, stretch, kneel, sit, and stand
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Wear required personal protective gear/equipment
• React to hazardous warnings and signals
• Infrequently perform manual labor
• Infrequently work in adverse weather conditions
