Job Description
Hearst Television is seeking experienced Broadcast Operations Technicians to join their team in Needham, MA. This part-time position offers 20+ hours per week with potential for long-term employment, requiring expertise in technical operations, broadcast equipment, and remote production. The role involves both in-house and remote operations, and includes responsibility for station cleanliness and maintenance.
Requirements
- Operate various technical positions (Technical Directing, robotic cameras, and audio) in control room and on remote productions
- Master Control operations and Air Assist functions across multiple broadcast platforms
- ENG Receive acquisition and distribution
- Floor Directing in studio and at remote productions
- Basic multi-media computer skills and familiarity with current Internet technology
- Assist with various technical needs on remote productions
- Responsibility with maintenance and upkeep of broadcast production areas
- Attending on camera appearances
- Staying informed about TVU
