Job Description
This Security Engineer role focuses on driving vulnerability management and compliance, securing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure, and protecting AWS cloud and containerized environments. The role involves mentoring peers, integrating AppSec tools, and contributing to a security-aware culture. Black Book is seeking a US-based security engineer to ensure the secure operation of automotive data.
Requirements
- 3+ years in security engineering, cloud, or DevSecOps
- Strong AWS experience
- Knowledge of IaC, CI/CD, and cloud-native security tools
- Familiarity with SIEM, EDR/XDR, WAFs, and OWASP Top 10
- Excellent communication skills
- US-based or eligible to work in the US
- Bonus: Experience with Wiz, NopSec, Kubernetes security, or security certifications (CISSP, AWS Security Specialty, etc)
