Job Description
CEC is one of the top specialty subcontractors in the country and is seeking a Directional Bore Locator to join their team. The role involves operating horizontal/directional drill rigs, locating equipment, and performing semi-skilled activities related to HDD locating.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License, CDL a plus
- DOT registration and compliance
- Experience with locating & verifying all utilities before construction
- Knowledge of telecommunications construction, Horizontal Directional Drills, and cable placement equipment and tools
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot problems
- Read prints and have knowledge of the underground process
