Specialist, General Ledger

Implementing fixed asset accounting policies, procedures, and control systems, and recording fixed asset transactions in SAP. Conducting regular physical counts and reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies.

Requirements

• Communicate with plant personnel to manage plant projects/assets from financial perspectives
• Review Appropriation Request, release project budget; record and track spending
• Record fixed asset creation, retirement, transfer, depreciation etc. in SAP
• Drive fixed assets related month-end closing and corporate submissions
• Ensure in-scope internal controls (SOX) are well maintained, support internal and external audits
• Participate&drive in various process improvement initiatives
