First-level supervisor at a large site (800 employees) supervising ~25 - 50 employees or a non-supervisory team lead of a support function. Provides direct supervision, establishes annual plans, and contributes to policy development.
Requirements
- Broad knowledge of an electronics manufacturing environment, material and processes
- Broad knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management and supplier management
- Strong knowledge of negotiation techniques
- Strong communications and presentation skills
- Good leadership and coaching skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines
- Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers
- Strong knowledge of SCM policies, and procedures and ISO standards
