Job Description
As a Commodity Management Manager, you will be responsible for managing global or regional responsibility for a strategic and/or high dollar commodity or group of commodities, developing and implementing a procurement strategy, and leading negotiations with suppliers. You will also assist in team development and planning, recruitment, and training of new employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Six to eight years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of the marketplace conditions for a broad range of strategic commodities
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to evaluate, prioritize, and problem solve a variety of tasks
