Engineer, Hardware Design

The Engineer, Hardware Design works with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and high-quality product development, and provides support throughout the manufacturing process. They develop new electrical systems/circuits, research system ideas, and create designs in line with Celestica's procedures and customer standards.

Requirements

• Design and develop technical solutions without assistance in a limited number of technical fields supporting common segments/technologies
• Attend and interact in technical customer meetings
• Research systems ideas and draw up plans for these systems
• Design, modify and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs
• Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
• Solve complex problems
• Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams
• Creation of Schematics, Bills of material, diagrams, drawings, etc.
• Analysing and interpreting data and information
• Creating reports and documentation
