Senior Lead Engineer, Hardware Design

The Senior Lead Hardware Design Engineer works within cross-functional teams to ensure robust, high-quality product development, leading designs, and providing technical support throughout the manufacturing process.

Requirements

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions
• Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of engineers
• Review, interpret, and negotiate customer requirements/specifications
• Manage relationships with key vendors/partners
• Research system ideas and draw up plans for these systems
• Design, modify, and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica's needs
• Create designs in line with Celestica's procedures, regulations, and customer standards
• Solve complex problems
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams
• Recommend system modifications
• Create schematics, bills of materials, diagrams, and drawings
• Analyze and interpret data and information
• Create reports and documentation
