Senior Materials Planner

The Senior Materials Planner is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing production schedules for designated products, ensuring quality and integrity of information, managing engineering changes, and communicating materials availability to support build plans. The role involves analyzing internal and external impact, revising plans as required, and making decisions on workload allocation and hiring practices.

Requirements

• Plans, organizes, and controls production schedules for designated products
• Analyzes internal and external impact of customer scheduling
• Ensures quality and integrity of information used to generate materials requirements plan
• Manages issues associated with engineering changes
• Communicates information on materials availability to support build plans
• Provides information to procurement on demand variances
• Develops and communicates short- and long-term commitments to customers
• Reviews and reports on aggregate levels of product inventory, inventory exposure, backlog, availability, and on-time delivery
