Job Description
This role is for a Lead Software Engineer to develop, debug, test, deploy, and support code for network switch products. The engineer will be responsible for writing, debugging, maintaining software, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust product development and customer satisfaction. They will also work independently and optimize the codebase.
Requirements
- Ability to gather, analyze, evaluate, and troubleshoot bugs.
- Strong knowledge of C, C++, Python programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, especially device drivers.
- Strong knowledge of BIOS, BSP, ONIE, Diagnostics, ONL.
- Experience using tools such as JIRA, Git, VM, CI/CD flows.
- Good understanding of OpenBMC is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of datacenter switch hardware architecture and concepts.
- Ability to simultaneously manage several projects and coordinate multiple, changing priorities.
