Staff Engineer, Hardware Design

The Staff Engineer, Hardware Design works with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and high-quality product development. The role involves developing new electrical systems/circuits and mechanical systems/modules, and providing support throughout the manufacturing process.

Requirements

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for complex projects
• Provide technical leadership and direction to a sizable team of engineers
• Review and interpret customer requirements/specifications
• Analyze trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions
• Design, modify, and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs
• Create designs in line with Celestica's procedures, regulations, and customer standards
• Solve complex problems
• Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams
• Recommend system modifications
