Engineering Manager

Celonis is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead their team in Bangalore, India. The role involves managing the careers of team members, fostering a collaborative culture, and driving the team's mission forward. The team is working on a new project to extend Celonis' process observability beyond company boundaries, enabling customers to share knowledge cross-organization.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an Engineering Manager
• Track record of successfully delivering large-scale technical projects
• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams
• Strong technical knowledge (5+ years of experience in software development is expected) with overall 10+ years of experience in the Software engineering field
• Experience in working with Java/JavaScript or TypeScript, Node.js, microservices
• Working experience in DevOps, Docker and CI/CD concepts and technology
• Proficiency in establishing and handling agile development methodologies and lean principle/techniques (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Continuous Delivery)
• Proficiency in project management, relationship building and stakeholder management
• Strong understanding of at least one the Business Domains that Celonis operates in (Order Management, Procurement, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable) are a plus.
• Ability to resolve technical conflicts, providing a positive environment for escalations
• Strong communication skills (English language), allowing you to collaborate smoothly with people across the business and technical domains
• Knowledge of cloud providers, Kubernetes is a plus
