Field CTO

We're Celonis, the global leader in Process Intelligence technology and one of the world's fastest-growing SaaS firms. We're looking for a Field CTO with a 'learn-it-all' mindset to serve as a high-impact technical advisor for our most strategic prospects and customers.

Requirements

• 15 to 20 years of relevant experience, ideally having served as a CTO at a consulting firm, as Field CTO at a software vendor, or Director/VP of Enterprise Architecture within a major corporation.
• Strategic Communication: Proven track record of presenting complex technical visions to C-suite stakeholders in a way that emphasizes business value.
• Modernization Expertise: Deep experience in Enterprise Modernization, EA Methodologies, and a robust understanding of Agentic AI.
• Technical Versatility: Ability to pivot from high-level architecture diagrams to hands-on demo.
• Technical Foundation: Excellent background in Data Architecture, API ecosystems, and cloud-native SaaS solutions like Salesforce and ServiceNow.
• ERP/Domain: Strong knowledge of at least one ERP SAP or Oracle or in alternative strong domain expertise in high regulated industries like Financial Services.
• Education: MSc degree in Computer Science or an equivalent IT-related field.
