We're looking for a Manager, Value Engineering for the Financial Services Industry in North America to lead a dynamic team of Value Engineers and drive end-to-end customer value journeys, securing new customers and expanding success with existing customers (ACV growth) and renewals (renewal rate).
Requirements
- Leadership Skills: A previous people manager, you have proven ability to lead by example, including being on the front line with your teams, hands-on in all aspects and a role model for the organization.
- Sales & Commercial Acumen: Demonstrate ability to qualify all VE engagements, do discovery with customers directly, steer/allocate resources efficiently, and champion our value selling methodology with our customers
- Domain Expertise: Demonstrated business domain expertise within Financial Services (e.g., Retail Banking, Payments, Insurance Claims, Wealth Management, or Financial Crime/Compliance). Must have experience in major strategic transformation initiatives and an ability to articulate a compelling value roadmap that integrates process mining with AI-driven execution, automation, and core system modernization.
- Industry Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the strategic challenges facing the C-Suite in Financial Services, including the drive for digital process efficiency and the pressure to reduce manual touchpoints. Possess strong technical acumen regarding technologies used in the industry, such as CRM/Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools, RPA platforms, and cloud-based data architectures, to build an integrated Celonis Process Intelligence Platform roadmap
- Product & Technical Acumen: Proven experience guiding customer’s IT teams throughout their Process Intelligence journey. Hands-on ability to demonstrate the power of our Process Intelligence Platform and accelerate value realization by leveraging Celonis' AI and Orchestration features (e.g., building dashboards, Apps, and Action Flows/Automation).
- Project Management: Lead the successful delivery of a portfolio of strategic programs and projects across multiple Financial Services accounts. This includes comprehensive management of scope, expectations, timelines, budget, and resource allocation across multiple project teams and individual contributors. Systematically leverage and coordinate partners from the Celonis Ecosystem to ensure maximum program velocity and value realization.
- Executive Stakeholder Management: Experience in preparing and communicating results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally.
- Value Selling Methodology: Demonstrate experience of following the Celonis value selling methodology alongside the customer journey: including discovery, qualification, value assessments and proofs, and demonstrate the full value potential of Celonis Process Intelligence Platform
- Value Realization: Proven track record of identifying and prioritizing use cases, implementing improvement measures and becoming a change agent for the customer
