Job Description
CEMEX is a global building materials company seeking a Health & Safety Manager to implement and manage site-specific, comprehensive Health and Safety programs throughout assigned locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health & Safety or related field.
- 3 years experience in health and safety management, operations management or other related position.
- Safety certifications (CSP, CIH, CMSP, CDS, etc.) a plus.
- Experience in dealing with regulatory agencies such as DOT, OSHA, and MSHA.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Team oriented with ability to work independently, as a self-starter.
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making ability through performance, assessment and interview process is required.
- Must excel as a communicator. Will need to communicate credibly with large groups of employees, supervisors and managers, across CEMEX businesses, and with Federal, state and local authorities regarding accidents & compliance issues.
