Job Description
CEMEX is seeking a Procurement Manager to identify and execute cost savings initiatives, build supplier relationships, and ensure continuous supply of materials and services. The successful candidate will collaborate with Category Managers and Operations on specific category strategies to provide the lowest cost of ownership solutions.
Requirements
- Participates in the annual maintenance forecast and budget in conjunction with operations.
- Guarantees flow of information and effective communication among Procurement, Operations and Maintenance.
- Responsible for developing and monitoring the annual purchasing/ negotiation plan.
- Responsible for fulfillment of goods and services requirements in a timely manner.
- Purchases materials, products & services.
- Responsible for inventory reduction initiatives and supplier payment term initiatives to improve Working Capital
