Phlebotomist (PRN)

CenExel is seeking a Phlebotomist to obtain and prepare specimens for analysis and perform various screening tests in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Requirements

• Have full knowledge of laboratory procedures and processes per protocol
• Collects blood by drawing from patients for clinical protocols, procedures or diagnoses
• Prepares samples for testing and storage, and labels them for analysis
• Verifies the patient's records, enters data into the system, and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment
• Explains procedures to patients to help them feel more comfortable
• Conducts intake interviews, takes vital signs, and performs clerical work
• Assists in the creation of laboratory documents
