Student opportunity with Husky Midstream, supporting terminal operations and pipeline operations. The role involves assisting with housekeeping and operational tasks, and ensuring safe and efficient functionality through tasks such as vacation coverage, product quality checks, and equipment monitoring. The work is field-based, requiring travel and a high level of safety awareness. The role is a part of the Cenovus Student Program, which offers meaningful, hands-on work experience, networking events, and a structured goal setting and performance evaluations.
Requirements
- Provide technical support to field teams, including installing, calibrating, and repairing equipment or machinery.
- Capture and record data from field operations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in identifying and resolving operational issues, suggesting improvements, and implementing standard processes.
- Support Field / Terminal surveillance requirements as needed.
- Support operations performed maintenance activities, maintenance contractors and vendors by communicating HMGP requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Perform site inspections, complete area logs and records.
- Immediately report any hazards, safety incidents, or near misses that occur to ensure a safe work environment.
