Job Description
The Center for Justice Innovation seeks a Night Clinical Intake Specialist for its Brooklyn Justice Initiatives Supervised Release Program. The position requires a Master's degree in a mental health field or Social Work and 2 years of direct practice experience. The specialist will conduct comprehensive needs assessments, connect participants with case managers, and provide de-escalation and emergency intervention within the courthouse.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a mental health field or Social Work
- 2 years of direct practice experience
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Experience in pretrial, court-based, or criminal legal system
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience working with specialized service provision
- Therapeutic intervention training and experience
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with local social service providers
- Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred
