Job Description
The position of Corporate Attorney and Government Affairs Liaison is responsible to and works under the direction of the President and CEO. The role supports the CEO in the development and implementation of public policy strategies at the federal, state, and local levels, and provides comprehensive legal counsel and compliance oversight across all internal and external matters.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree
- Active bar membership in Pennsylvania or eligibility to be admitted via reciprocity
- Three-to-five years of experience in legal work/experience
- Three-to-five years of experience in public policy development, legislative advocacy, government affairs, public education, or political campaign work
- Demonstrated excellence in project management, time management, and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of computer-based skills, including word processing and spreadsheet development
- Ability to travel to local, regional, and national meetings with overnight stays required
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Excellent team building skills
