
Job description
The Commercial Analyst reviews, evaluates, and identifies opportunities to support growth and efficiencies across all business segments. They establish and maintain customer relationships, assist in demurrage calculations, and develop reports to track service disruptions and utilization.
The Commercial Analyst will assist in contract admin, ensure accurate and timely on hire and off hire times, and perform ad hoc reporting and operational research. They will also work closely with Commercial, Dispatch, Operations, and Accounting departments to ensure efficient communication and company-wide objectives are met.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field, 1-3 years of maritime experience, and knowledge of the marine petroleum transportation industry. They will be able to develop and maintain professional relationships, demonstrate problem-solving and negotiation skills, and have experience with maritime associations and sales.
