Associate Technologist Electrical Engineering

CenterPoint Energy is seeking an Associate Technologist Electrical Engineering to manage small electric projects from design through completion. The ideal candidate will have an Engineering Technology degree and 2 years of experience in construction, utility operations, or related industry experience.

Requirements

• Manages small electric projects from design through completion
• Designs new or retrofits existing facilities
• Creates and designs basic electric distribution facilities, transmission system designs, and support systems
• Prepares project documents, including cost estimates, material specifications, and schedules
• Communicates and coordinates with service center employees, customers, and government agencies
