The Mental Health Consultant position provides individual, group, and family counseling to promote personal growth and resiliency in early childhood settings. The role involves training, consultation, and technical assistance services to childcare providers and families, as well as linking the childcare field and mental health field to fill identified gaps in services.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Infant Mental Health or other related Human Services field
- Completed a minimum of 1,000 hours applicable supervised direct service via practicum, internship or employment
- Qualified Mental Health Professional status in relevant programs
- Computer and keyboarding experience and skills or the ability to develop such skills within required timeframes
