School Based behavioral health liaison therapist (Hohenwald)

As a school-based behavioral health liaison, the candidate will provide face-to-face consultation with classroom teachers to assist in creating a positive, trauma-informed classroom environment and provide psycho-educational groups and other support to youth identified by teachers and/or school officials. The candidate will also provide liaison services between the school and the child's family and assist with the IEP process and trauma-informed support plans.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a specialization in MH Counseling
• License-eligible in respective discipline preferred
• A minimum of 1 year of experience providing treatment to individuals with mental health disorders is required, and substance use disorders experience is preferred
• Proficiency in trauma-informed practices
• Ability to provide strength-based and client-centered care
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with school staff, students, and families
