Home Health Aide

Become a Home Health Aide and provide direct patient care, assist with self-administered medications, and help patients maintain good personal hygiene. Assist with feeding, toileting, and mobility, and report changes and document pertinent information. Must be in good standing on the HHA Registry and have completed HHA/CNA course. High school diploma or equivalent required, with at least one year experience in the last 24 months as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide Program within the last 24 months
• Must meet applicable state certification requirements
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required
• In good standing on the HHA Registry (if applicable) and completed HHA/CNA course
• At least one year experience in the last 24 months as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, home health/hospice agency
