Neuroendovascular Physician Assistant

CMG Brain and Spine are seeking a skilled and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join their Neuroendovascular program. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the care of patients with complex cerebrovascular and neurovascular conditions across the continuum of care. This position offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity, procedure-driven specialty alongside fellowship-trained Neuroendovascular surgeons in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Requirements

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cerebrovascular and neurovascular conditions
• Provide inpatient care including pre- and post-procedural assessments, daily rounding in ICU and step-down units, and coordination of care with neurology, neurosurgery, critical care, and nursing teams
• See follow-up patients in clinic setting
• Assist with neurointerventional procedures as appropriate
• Participate in stroke alerts and neurovascular call coverage
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
• Perform procedures within scope of practice
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-up care
• Document care in the electronic medical record in a timely and accurate manner
