Job Description
This position is for an Advanced Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist II, preparing and administering radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies. The role involves preparing stock solutions, calculating doses, and ensuring patient safety while recording radiation dosage and imaging results. Technologists work in the outpatient setting with radiation exposure controls.
Requirements
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously
- Detect and map radiopharmaceuticals in patients' bodies
- Prepare and calibrate radioisotope equipment
- Maintain and calibrate equipment
- Dispose of radioactive materials
