Job Description
The Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) functions under the direction of a licensed professional nurse to provide patient care and meet daily routine patient needs.
Requirements
- Provide and document patient care under the direction of a registered or licensed practical nurse
- Promote patient comfort and communicate observations or patient needs to the nursing staff
- Maintain patient rights to comfort, privacy, and dignity
- Create and maintain a clean and safe environment on the unit and within patient rooms and areas
- Follow organization's policies and procedures in the delivery of care and while interacting with other caregivers
