Sailing Camp Instructor

The Sailing Camp Instructor supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit to strengthen the community. They will create and implement procedures and/or programs and/or curriculums, work with program participants and volunteers, and foster a welcoming and positive atmosphere where campers feel supported as they develop confidence, teamwork and problem-solving skills through sailing and other waterfront activities.

Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Team player, with superb interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, work independently and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Strong swimming skills with knowledge of sail boats and water safety.
• 15+ years old.
