Senior Accountant

Central eliminates back-office work for startups, and we're looking for a Senior Accountant to manage accounting for a portfolio of early-stage, venture-backed startups, while helping shape how we build and scale our accounting offering.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of accounting experience, ideally working with startups or in a fast-moving environment
• Strong accounting foundation - comfortable reviewing or jumping into bookkeeping work when needed
• Experience managing offshore teams or automation-assisted workflows
• Excellent communicator - organized, proactive, and great at keeping clients informed
• Process-minded and tech-forward - you enjoy building systems, documenting workflows, and finding ways to work smarter
• Proficient in tools like QBO, Puzzle, and Google Sheets; experience with automation tools is a plus
• CPA preferred but not required
