Job Description
Centro de la Familia is seeking a Teacher Assistant to join their team and provide exceptional early childhood education. The role involves administering programs, working closely with parents, supporting the teacher in attendance, and creating a fun and inclusive learning environment for infants and toddlers. The role is part of a Head Start program focused on science-based curriculum and inclusivity.
Requirements
- Current Preschool CDA (Childhood Development Associate) or a written plan to earn one within the first six months.
- Current CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s permits.
- Willingness to work with children with special needs and those with limited or no English language skills.
- Spanish and English bilingual proficiency preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Passionate about nurturing the growth and development of young minds.
