Job Description
Call Box exists to grow people and is building a high-performance, AI-native engineering organization. We are hiring a Software Engineer II to build, own, and operate conversational voice AI systems for the automotive industry.
Requirements
- Computer science degree (or equivalent practical experience)
- 3+ years building and operating production backend systems
- Proficient in TypeScript and Node.js
- AWS experience (ECS, Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, networking basics)
- Infrastructure as code experience; CDK preferred
- Production database experience (Postgres)
- Experience owning live services in production
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and on-call operations
