Electronics Assembler

Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems by performing various tasks such as crimping, staking, screwing, bolting, riveting, welding, soldering, cementing, and press fitting parts in place, and connecting components lead wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be able to work independently
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Able to read and interpret measuring equipment, tape measure/ruler/caliper
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
• Ability to safely operate power equipment with a shop atmosphere – hand drill, drill press and power saws as necessary
