Facilities Engineer

CesiumAstro is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support its Austin facilities, including manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining facilities and equipment, working with contractors, and overseeing janitorial services.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience working in Facilities Engineering/Management, Project Management
• Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described
• Work experience in one or more of the building trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry)
• Familiarity with construction management, fire safety requirements, and common construction codes
• Must be computer literate
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Great project management and problem-solving skills
• Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
