Senior Antenna and RF Research Engineer I

We are seeking a Senior Antenna and RF Research Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in designing, simulating, building, and testing high-frequency active phased array antennas, and is passionate about developing leading-edge antenna and RF hardware. As a member of our advanced development team, you will help define the company's antenna technology roadmap and align research efforts with business development insights and company strategy.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD degree in electrical engineering
• Minimum 2 years of industry or university research experience covering antenna design, RF systems design, and RF prototyping and test
• Expert-level proficiency in EM and RF systems simulation, optimizations and corresponding tools (as a minimum CST, HFSS, ADS)
• Expert-level proficiency in at least one high-level programming language like Matlab and Python
• Expert-level proficiency in antenna range and over-the-air measurements including setup, test planning, and calibration
• Extensive hands-on experience with lab instruments such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes
• Proven track record showing the ability to define work direction, track milestones, and demonstrate progress on large open-ended projects
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
