Job Description
Chainguard is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for the Libraries Platform team, responsible for building and maintaining the platform that powers the factory for secure, reliable, and reproducible open-source libraries. The role involves designing and implementing infrastructure for language ecosystems, building and operating shared services, and driving reliability and scalability for the platform. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience designing and operating infrastructure for language ecosystems or developer platforms, proficiency in Go (Golang), and a proven track record of building developer tooling and automation.
Requirements
- 3+ years designing, building, and operating infrastructure for language ecosystems or developer platforms
- Proficiency in Go (Golang) or strong readiness to ramp quickly
- Proven track record building and owning developer tooling and automation
- Background in CI/CD, cloud-native infrastructure, and IaC: containers, public cloud, and tools like Terraform and GitHub Actions/Argo/Tekton
