Job Description
Challenge Preparatory Charter School seeks a 4th-grade General Education Teacher for a full-time position. The teacher will deliver exceptional instruction, assess scholar growth, and provide academic and cultural support to the school and team. The role reports to the principal and requires a commitment to the school's mission and core beliefs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's degree preferred
- NYS certification preferred
- Highly motivated to teach students from underserved areas and devoted to closing the achievement gap
- Teaching experience in an urban school setting preferred
- Ability to create a classroom setting where students of every academic level experience enjoyment, engagement, and enthusiasm in their learning
