Job Description
We're seeking a Direct Support Professional to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing assistance and instruction on daily tasks, and helping them learn new skills and reach life goals. No experience is required, and paid training is provided.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Pass a criminal/ child abuse & neglect background check.
- Motor Vehicle background check.
- Ability to work with people with developmental disabilities (DD) or mental illness (MI)
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
- CPR, 1st Aid, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) and DSP training must be completed within the first 4 months and annually thereafter
- Ability to use a computer
