Fleet Mechanic

We have an immediate need for a Mobile Fleet Mechanic located in Odessa, TX. This position is primarily responsible for providing maintenance of any type of heavy duty vehicle used to deliver chemicals to customers, plants, and/or warehouse locations. Requirements

• Servicing all types of delivery and treating trucks.
• Inspect all heavy duty vehicles once a month
• Perform scheduled maintenance on all delivery vehicles
• Perform field repairs as needed
• Take part in planning and scheduling repairs in daily ops meeting
• Maintain ChampionX policy inspection maintenance records
• Keeps current on safety techniques and take advantage of all opportunities to improve driving and safety skills
• Recognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environment
• Assist in any emergency that may need mechanical knowledge
• Ensure equipment is safe and in proper working order including scheduling of preventative maintenance
• Adhere to company policies and follow Standard Operating Procedure per job task
• Wear required personal protection equipment (PPE) at all times during job tasks
• Ensure a safe work environment, promote a safety culture, and deliver safety training (weekly), etc.
• Manage all fleet equipment and maintenance needs
• Directing all fleet mechanics and maintenance activities to ensure all repair and maintenance work is performed safely, efficiently, and timely.
• Managing monthly OPEX on repair and maintenance
• Manage and perform inventory tasks
• Ensure all partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations and maintenance.
