Experienced Offshore Chemist and Chemical Custodian for technically challenging oil field operations. Provide on-site technical assistance, chemical management, sample analysis, monitoring, and reporting programs.
Requirements
- Sampling and analysis of oil, gas and other critical systems
- Provide technical support and information to onshore and offshore operations team
- Maintenance of daily logs and production of written and verbal handovers
- Generation of technical reports and reporting to client in a timely manner
- Day to day management of chemical use and stock levels
- Logistical management of temporary chemical injection systems
- Investigation and rectification of issues with chemical injection systems
- Creation of maintenance requests and management of laboratory consumable stock levels
- Re-calibration and re-certification of all laboratory equipment
- Participation in training and conduct of training of asset personnel
- Demonstration of personal commitment to health, safety and the environment
- Compliance with client's culture and operating procedures
- Evaluation of process issues and provision of recommendations for improvement
