Quality Engineer

Requirements

• Implementing and maintaining an effective Quality Management System (QMS)
• Implementing continuous Improvement methods to ensure quality standards are met
• Develop, apply, and maintain quality systems compliant to ISO-9001:2015 and UL508A
• Track and report quality metrics (KPI's), trending and implementing process improvements based on data analysis
• Apply product testing, including the assembly of products and field testing
• Manage and resolve product and process quality issues
• Support concurrent engineering efforts by participating in design development projects representing quality assurance and the customer
• Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection
• Maintain Standard Work instructions, SOPs and 5S checklists
• Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents and reports
• Work collectively with supply chain to ensure suppliers meet minimum company quality requirements
• Executive the QA goals and objectives for department
