Instructional Aide → 26/27 SY

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking an Instructional Aide to join their Special Education team. The role involves providing personalized support, supervision, and guidance to students in Grades K-12. As an Instructional Aide, you will play a vital role in shaping the success of students and empowering them to reach their full potential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with passage of basic skills test
• Associate degree or higher in education or a closely related field preferred
• Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a paraprofessional, paraeducator, education assistant, or similar credential preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company-approved crisis management training
• Prior experience providing instruction, guidance, and/or support to children
• Ability to think and act quickly and calmly in an emergency and make independent decisions
