ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking an Instructional Aide to join their award-winning Special Education team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and be able to provide personalized support and guidance to students in Grades K-12.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent w/ passage of basic skills test
- Associate degree or higher in education or a closely related field of study preferred
- Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a paraprofessional, paraeducator, education assistant or similar credential preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company approved crisis management training
- Prior experience working with children, preferably in an alternative, special education and/or behavioral health program setting
- Highly skilled in working with children with severe learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, emotional behavioral disorders and/or other related disabilities
