Job Description
We are 100% employee owned. Every person who works for Chandos can become an owner. We are looking for an Apprentice Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience as a carpenter and be motivated, hardworking, and able to work long hours and Saturdays if needed.
Requirements
- Currently indentured into an Apprenticeship Program, Carpenter
- Two or more years of experience as a carpenter
- Currently working in the trade
- Motivated, Hardworking, able to work long hours and Saturdays if needed
- Knowledge of carpentry and building maintenance
- Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools
- Knowledge of workplace safety, and safe lifting and handling procedures
- Mathematical and analytical skills necessary to do material and labour estimates
- CSTS training is a prerequisite for employment
