The Channel Islands YMCA is committed to building bridges within our communities and creating spaces, experiences, and a culture where all people belong and feel connected.
A Lifeguard is responsible for maintaining constant surveillance of water and pool deck areas, assisting swimmers in distress, and providing emergency medical assistance as trained to any person on the YMCA premise. They also provide support to swim lessons and aquatic programs instructors, take and record chemical readings, and enforce and educate members about aquatic rules and procedures.
