Senior Packaging Design Engineer - China

ChargePoint is seeking a Senior Packaging Design Engineer to join their team in Shanghai, China. The ideal candidate will have experience in packaging design, including design for manufacturing and design for cost, and will be responsible for creating packaging models and specifications that meet ISTA standards.

Requirements

• Fluent in Mandarin, and able to communicate technically in English with USA-based design teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Packaging Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience as a Packaging Design Engineer
• Proficient in CAD
• Strong working knowledge of packaging materials including corrugated materials, plastics, pallets, and sustainable alternatives.
• A self-starter who is comfortable driving multiple projects and designs simultaneously.
• Ability to learn quickly and operate outside of your comfort zone
