Job Description
The Thomas Stone High School Assistant Soccer Coach is a part-time position focused on supporting the Head Coach in developing an effective coaching program. Responsibilities include skill development, practice planning, supervision of players, and maintaining a positive school environment. The role involves daily attendance, enforcement of school rules, and ensuring student eligibility for participation.
Requirements
- Teachers or certified educator with a Maryland state certificate (COMAR 13A.12.01).
- MPSSAA/MSDE Coaching Certification.
- Completed two years of successful coaching as an emergency coach.
- Previous year as a successful emergency coach at the school of hire.
- Knowledge of Charles County Public Schools Extra-Curricular Handbook.
