Job Description
The Head Golf Coach will develop a program to improve the school's golf program. This role focuses on skill development, practice planning, supervision, individual and team growth, and upholding the highest ideals of character. The position also involves communicating with students, parents, and administration. The position is part time and exempt from overtime.
Requirements
- Teachers or certified professional educators employed by the local Board of Education.
- Certified as a professional educator by the State Department of Education (13A.12.01).
- Credentialed coaches who meet the requirement of the MPSSAA/MSDE Coaching Certification.
- Completed two years of successful coaching as an emergency coach.
- Completed one year as a successful emergency coach at the school.
- Must be eligible to hold a Maryland certificate under COMAR 13A.12.01.
