Job Description
Charles River is seeking a Biological Laboratory Technician for a two-year fixed-term contract in their Bioassays department in Erkrath, Germany. The role involves conducting cell-based bioassays in a GMP environment and supporting scientists with test preparation and execution. The successful candidate will have experience in cell culture, bioassays, or regulated laboratory processes, and strong German and English language skills.
Requirements
- Completed training as a BTA/Biologielaborant/CTA/MTA/MTLA or a natural sciences degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in biology, biochemistry, etc.
- Practical laboratory experience in at least one of the following areas: cell biology/cell culture, bioassays, immunology, regulated laboratory processes
- Careful, structured, and reliable working methods
- Very good German and good English language skills
- Experience in a GMP-regulated environment
